MVHS PERFORMING ARTS BOOSTERS
The Performing Arts Boosters is an organization whose purpose is to enhance the Performing Arts Programs at Manchester Valley High School. These programs include both the Instrumental and Choral Departments, as well as the Theater Department. We provide financial and moral support to the directors and students. One of the goals of the organization is to promote student participation in the programs and increase parental involvement in order to create a true partnership that will enrich our student’s high school experience.

The Performing Arts Boosters holds general meetings on the THIRD Wednesday EVERY OTHER MONTH in the Chorus Room at MVHS at 6:30pm. Committee meetings are held alternating months. Everyone is welcome to attend every meeting.

Each year the Performing Arts Boosters award scholarships to three Seniors. The application will become available online in March 2027 with a submission deadline on April 16. 2027. Winners will be announced at the Senior Awards Ceremony in May.

MISSION STATEMENT
Theater Club provides students with opportunities to develop performance and technical skills, make new friends, and be part of a creative community. Whether you're interested in acting, working backstage, designing sets, running lights and sound, or helping bring productions to life, there is a place for you to learn, create, and belong. All students with an interest in the performing arts are welcome!

MEETINGS
Theater Club meets once each month during SET (meeting dates TBD), but that's just the beginning! Throughout the year, we offer special after-school activities, workshops, trips, social events, and opportunities to get involved in our productions. The best way to experience Theater Club is to jump in—audition for a show, join a crew, attend a workshop, travel with us, or volunteer at an event. Don't just come to the meetings; be an active part of Maverick Theater!

What is the International Thespian Society?
The International Thespian Society (ITS), founded in 1929, is an honorary organization for high school and middle school theatre students located at more than 4200 affiliated secondary schools across America, Canada, and abroad. The mission of ITS is to honor student achievement in the theatre arts. High school inductees are known as Thespians.THESPIAN PLEDGE "I promise to uphold the aims and ideals of the International Thespian Society. I am a student of theatre and excellence is my ideal.
